THE SHELL – An abandoned giant turtle shell that Gus pulled over a creek. It has hammocks, a fire pit (lit by Trixie’s sneezes—she’s allergic to ferns), and Ricky’s “Emergency Emergency Board” (which is just layers of smaller boards). Pilot Episode: “The Last Fern-ferry” Cold Open: Ricky is calmly making a “Morning Safety Scroll” when Trixie bursts through the shell wall, wearing a helmet made of two halves of a coconut. “RICKY! Ricky realizes they can’t carry the fern and outrun the blast. So he uses his tiny arms to tie the fern to Trixie’s frill. “You’re the fastest, Trixie. Go.” Trixie tears up. “But what about you?!” Gus picks up Ricky with his tail and says, “I’ve got the little guy. Now RUN, you adorable wrecking ball.”
