Braja M. Das is a highly respected author in geotechnical engineering. One of his most prominent or contributions is the clear, step-by-step pedagogical structure of his textbooks, particularly in Principles of Geotechnical Engineering (co-authored with Khaled Sobhan) and Fundamentals of Geotechnical Engineering .
