Ladyfist — Absynthe

Pours a deceptive pale jade green, clouding to an opalescent milky white when water is added. Served in a heavy-bottomed rocks glass.

This is where the "Fist" part earns its name. Unlike a traditional slow-drip French absinthe, the Ladyfist is built like a Sazerac's evil cousin. High-proof rye whiskey provides a spicy backbone, while the Absinthe acts not as a rinse, but a full 1 oz pour. The result is aggressively herbal, with a numbing, cooling sensation that turns into a hot cinnamon-burn finish. The sugar is noticeably absent, making it brutally dry.

Massive punch of Grand Wormwood (thujone) followed by fennel and cold star anise. There is no subtlety here—it smells like a 19th-century poet's last breath.
