Let’s address the elephant in the drafting room. AutoCAD 2005 was a fantastic release. Launched nearly two decades ago, it introduced the beloved Sheet Set Manager and improved PDF importing. It was stable, lightweight by modern standards, and got the job done.
If you need the old-school feel, try an open-source alternative. If you need actual AutoCAD, save up for the real license or use their free trial.
