Note: Vasco Data Security was acquired by OneSpan in 2018. However, the brand and specific products (DIGIPASS, Identikey) remain in use in many enterprises. This review focuses on the core strengths and weaknesses of the Vasco product line. 1. In a Nutshell Vasco specialized in strong authentication – proving you are who you say you are. Their claim to fame was the hardware DIGIPASS (the key fob generating a 6-digit code) and the backend Identikey server.
